Imagine making a typo in an excel spreadsheet... and ending up with too much Island Sunrise Pour Over grind with no place to go! This typo is a treasure here at Wonky Box, because it means there's surplus stock of this smooth blend heading to our shelves or you to sip on.
With its light roast profile, this blend is perfect for pour-over and Aeropress brewing, highlighting bright, clean notes that speciality coffee lovers will enjoy.
Made from bees that have done as they please! This honey was packaged as Pure Cream Honey, before it was discovered the hardworking bees buzzed to a variety of plants to find their pollen, changing the composition of the honey to Mixed Floral instead. The combination of nectar from different flowers creates a more complex and layered flavour profile - an adventure in every bite.
Rather than this honey ending up homeless due to incorrect packaging, we’ve welcomed it to the Pantry instead. Just remember the name on the jar isn’t quite right.
Espresso lovers know there’s only one thing as essential as 5+ peculiar produce a day… a solid cup of coffee! And now, you can stock up on both in your Wonky Box. This batch of espresso from our friends at Havana in Wellington was ground a little too fine… but that’s fine by us! Just tweak your shot to 15g of grinds instead of 19g, and you’re good to go (you might even get an extra coffee out of it!).
