NEW to pantry shelves this month, we’re mixing and matching your favourite seasonal stone fruits into convenient 1kg bundles. Grab these when you need an extra dose of juicy goodness! This time of year your bundle could include any combination of peaches, nectarines, apricots and plums, rescued from Hawke’s Bay, Canterbury and Otago.
Sweet, tangy, and made with rescued Central Otago apricots, this jam is pure golden goodness. A 2023 Gold Medal winner at the Outstanding NZ Food Producer Awards, it’s proof that second-chance fruit deserves the spotlight! With its light roast profile, this blend is perfect for pour-over and Aeropress brewing, highlighting bright, clean notes that speciality coffee lovers will enjoy.
Made from bees that have done as they please! This honey was packaged as Pure Cream Honey, before it was discovered the hardworking bees buzzed to a variety of plants to find their pollen, changing the composition of the honey to Mixed Floral instead. The combination of nectar from different flowers creates a more complex and layered flavour profile - an adventure in every bite.
Rather than this honey ending up homeless due to incorrect packaging, we’ve welcomed it to the Pantry instead. Just remember the name on the jar isn’t quite right.
Espresso lovers know there’s only one thing as essential as 5+ peculiar produce a day… a solid cup of coffee! And now, you can stock up on both in your Wonky Box. This batch of espresso from our friends at Havana in Wellington was ground a little too fine… but that’s fine by us! Just tweak your shot to 15g of grinds instead of 19g, and you’re good to go (you might even get an extra coffee out of it!).
